Oxford Q-Step Centre

Internship opportunities for 2018

Understanding data and using it effectively are increasingly important skills for students throughout their degrees and beyond.  The Oxford Q-Step Centre (founded in 2013) teaches undergraduates in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and History & Politics how to work with data and to assess quantitative evidence using their own analyses.

OQC, working with the Oxford University Internship Programme, runs a number of data-rich internships each year to give students the opportunity to apply these skills in the workplace.  Employers benefit from having enthusiastic, and extremely able students to work on a specific project for them.  Q-Step Internships have included Demos, YouGov, Kelmscott Manor, The Mount Stuart Trust and Citizens' Advice West Oxfordshire.

We are looking to develop the range of internships we offer and will take internship proposals from employers from October 2017.

Students are invited to apply for internships from mid-February 2018 for placements during summer/autumn 2018.  If you have any questions in the meantime, please email: oqc@politics.ox.ac.uk
